iFLY is not a ride or simulator. It is a vertical wind tunnel created by the team at SkyVenture and is the closest thing anyone can do to actual skydiving! 

Guests don’t need any previous experience to enjoy iFLY Seattle. They will love the feeling of flying in the air with professional and experienced instructor supervision. 

iFLY provides with all necessary equipment onsite. The cost of the experience includes is a comprehensive training session, which prepares guests to fly safely and for a more immersive flying experience. iFLY is safe and challenging for most age groups (children 3 years up and included) and provides a realistic skydiver experience.

iFLY’s uses a recirculating wind tunnel that was built in 2011. The wind tunnel features a pressurized flight chamber also. The Seattle location was originally built for private use only, but was later acquired by iFLY World to become part of their network of facilities nationwide.

As mentioned, guests will be provided with all the necessary equipment. This includes a jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and earplugs. Just like a real skydiving experience!

For first-timers, the full flight experience is approximately 1-2 hours in duration. After arriving and checking in, guests take part in a custom training session before gearing up for their indoor skydiving experience. During your time with us, your instructor teaches you to how to control your body in flight.

First-timer experience between 2 to 6 minutes of flight time each. This affords enough time to understand the basics of body control and still have a fun experience.
